Pairing: Matt/Tony with a little Matt/Joel and Tony/Benji
Disclaimer: This is entirely fiction. It's made up. Never happened.
"You know Tony, this was a good idea. Ever since the twins moved in, I feel like we don't get to spend much quality time with each other," I tell Tony as we get up from our spot on the grass after finishing our conversation about pretty much nothing at all.
Tony nods, "It's a good thing that we're going inside now, because it's starting to rain."
We had just reached the back door when it started to pour. It's times like these when I wish that we had a back porch with a roof. Tony opens the screen door and reaches for the doorknob.
"Shit! It's locked!" he says.
"Let me try," I say, reaching out for it.
"I told you that it's locked, didn't I?" he says.
"Fine, we'll just have to beat on the door until Benji or Joel wake up and come let us in," I tell him.
By this time the rain has already soaked us both. My t-shirt is clinging to my body and my hair keeps falling in my eyes. Tony's eyeliner is running down his face. I'm really not sure why he and Joel took up wearing eyeliner lately.
"Those two could sleep through a tornado. They'll never hear us pounding on the door," Tony informs me.
"Well, it sure couldn't hurt to try," I say, glaring at him, "Why is the door locked anyway? You were the last one out the door and I surely didn't lock it!"
"I have no idea," Tony says, turning around abruptly and walking a few steps out into the yard. I suddenly forget about the locked door and follow Tony. I didn't mean to be so mean to him. I think that I hurt his feelings. Yes, even Tony has feelings.
"I'm sorry, cuz," I say as I catch up to him.
"Don't be. I always fuck everything up. I deserve to be yelled at," he tells me.
"Be that way then," I tell him as I sit down in the grass and pout.
Tony sits down as well, a few feet away from me. Several minutes pass with neither of us saying a word.
"I'm cold!" Tony suddenly exclaims in a whiny voice.
I'm starting to shiver myself, so I get up and sit down beside him.
"Do you forgive me?" Tony asks.
"No, but I'm cold too. I figure that we could at least huddle for warmth," I tell him, trying my hardest not to smile.
"Fuck you Matt," he says.
This time I can't help but smile as I pull him closer to me.
"I don't want to be your cuddle slut," he says, pushing me away from him and knocking me over in the process.
As soon as I regain my balance, I tackle him. The next thing I know, we're rolling around in the mud with the rain still pouring down. Thank God it's dark, because I'd feel pretty stupid if one of our neighbors saw us. When we're both panting and gasping for air, we finally stop wrestling. Tony is on top of me, but I'm too exhausted to push him off. Tony doesn't seem to be moving either.
"I'm tired," he tells me, before moving his head down and pressing his forehead to mine.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I ask as I shut my eyes because it's kind of freaky to look at another person when they are that close to you.
"Going to sleep," he tells me.
I can feel his breath on my face and it sends a shiver through my body. Suddenly I feel him lift his head off of mine, but before I have time to open my eyes, I feel something else, his lips on mine. I'm shocked and confused. I'm not sure what to do. After awhile he pulls away. This time I open my eyes before he can do anything else.
"Tony, what was that?" I ask as I bring my hand to my face and touch my lips.
"It was a kiss," he tells me, without any emotion at all.
"I know that. But why did you kiss me Tony?" I ask, still not any less confused after his answer.
"Because I wanted to," he replies in that "duh" voice of his.
"But, we're cousins. And, cousins shouldn't kiss, at least not at our age. And we have boyfriends," I say as I watch the rain drip off of his chin.
To myself I sound like a rambling idiot. Tony simply looks at me with his usual smirk.
"Why did you want to kiss me?" I ask when I can finally think straight again.
"I've wanted to for awhile now. I saw the twins kissing once. It looked like they enjoyed it. But I don't have a twin. And I certainly don't want to kiss Steve," he told me.
"Okay. Well, you kissed me. Are you happy now?" I ask carefully as I find myself reaching up to push his wet hair off of his forehead.
"Not quite. You didn't kiss back," he says, and I can't help but laugh, "Can we try it again?"
"Tony, this is a little weird," I say, hoping that he'll get the hint that I'm a little more than slightly uncomfortable in this situation.
I have no problem with kissing guys. My significant other just happens to be a guy. And we kiss a lot.
"Let me kiss you one more time. This time you participate. If you don't like it, I'll never kiss you again," he suggests.
Tonight just keeps getting weirder and weirder. He thinks that I might like kissing him? I have to admit that I'm kind of curious since I've never really kissed another guy who has a lip ring, well, up until just a few seconds ago.
"Fine," I tell him, shutting my eyes and waiting to get it over with.
I can't believe we're doing this. Suddenly I feel his lips on mine again. The water is now rolling off of him and hitting me on the face. Except for that small detail, the kiss is actually enjoyable. Now I have some idea of what Joel feels when he kisses me. Maybe I'll convince him to get a lip ring. That would be hot.
"How was that?" Tony asks when he pulls away.
"Not bad," I say, trying to hide the fact that I actually enjoyed it from him.
He presses his lips to mine again. I guess he didn't like my answer. This time I feel his tongue slip inside my mouth. He tastes like tobacco and alcohol, two of my favorite things, and so different than Joel.
"And that?" he asks.
"Better," I say, hoping that if I'm still not convinced, he'll kiss me again.
And he does. He jerks back the second thunder sounds in the air.
"Shit, it's lightening now. We better go in," he tells me as he gets off of me and helps me up.
"But we're locked out," I say, confused.
"No we aren't. I have the key," he tells me as he reaches into his pocket, and sure enough, there is the key.
"You fucking asshole! We've been out here soaking wet and freezing when you had the key the whole time!" I say, more surprised than angry. I should have expected something like that from him.
He just shrugs his shoulders and we walk to the back door. Before he opens the door, he pulls me in for one last kiss. I still don't know what any of this was about as I step back inside our nice dry house and make my way up to my room. I walk into the bathroom and start to take off these muddy, wet clothes.
"Hey Matt," I turn around to find Joel standing in the doorway in only his boxers, arms folded across his chest and a smirk on his face.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," I tell him.
"It's okay. I was already awake," he says.
"Oh," I say as I open the shower door and step in, "Since you're up, you wanna join me?"
"Yeah," he says following me, "and by the way, I didn't know that you and Tony were kissing cousins."
"Oh? I didn't know that you and Benji were kissing brothers," I shoot back, hoping that Tony wasn't lying about what he saw.
To my relief he smiles, "Shut up and kiss me."
